NEW YORK, January 15, 2026―David Contreiras Tyler has joined Duane Morris LLP as a partner in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group in its New York office.

Tyler has extensive experience advising issuers, project sponsors, underwriters, initial purchasers, placement agents and investors on public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, with a focus on capital markets and securitization transactions originating in Latin America. He is adept at structuring and advising on a wide range of financing solutions for corporate, sovereign, multilateral development and financial institution clients. Tyler’s practice spans several product areas, including, among others, unregistered securities offerings under Rule 144A and Regulation S, private placements of debt securities, equity transactions (primarily IPOs and follow-on offerings for Brazilian issuers), structured finance transactions, project bonds and liability management transactions. In addition to his extensive experience in capital markets transactions, Tyler also has significant experience in various facets of the practice of corporate and securities law and is highly adaptable to working on a multitude of types of transactions and projects for corporate clients.

Tyler is a graduate of the Boston University School of Law (J.D., 2000) and the University of Virginia, (B.A., 1996). A dual U.S. and Brazilian national, he has native fluency in English and Portuguese and a cultural understanding of Latin America that enables him to provide effective counsel in transactions involving regional institutions in a variety of industry sectors.
