PHILADELPHIA, January 4, 2024—Duane Morris LLP has named partner Erin M. Duffy as chair of the firm’s Health Law Practice Group. Duffy previously served as vice chair of the group and succeeds partner Gregory A. Brodek, who served as chair since 2020 and will continue practicing as a partner in the group.

Duffy concentrates her practice on corporate healthcare regulatory matters. She advises clients, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, medical practices, pharmacies, long-term care facilities and developmental disabilities facilities, on a wide range of issues, including fraud and abuse, privacy, medical staff relations, the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act, self-referral, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, corporate practice of medicine and fee-splitting prohibitions, and certificate of need and licensure issues. Duffy has worked extensively with healthcare providers on corporate transactions and administrative agency matters. She a member of the firm’s governing Partners Board.
Duffy is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law (J.D., cum laude) and St. Joseph’s University (B.A., summa cum laude).
