Annie Blackman is an associate in the firm's Health Law Practice Group. She counsels clients on regulatory, transactional and compliance matters involving federal and state health care laws. Her background includes experience advising pharmaceutical companies and health care entities on federal payor provisions, health care pricing, and facility and physician licensing issues, as well as conducting diligence for corporate transactions in the life sciences sector.
Before joining Duane Morris, Ms. Blackman served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cynthia M. Rufe of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she assisted in managing complex multidistrict litigation involving pharmaceutical pricing and antitrust claims.
Ms. Blackman is a 2022 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she served on The Regulatory Review and the Journal of Law and Social Change and received the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award. She earned a B.A. in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University as a Bloomberg Scholar.
