Christopher A. Brown practices in the area of commercial litigation with a focus on construction law. He represents businesses, individuals and governmental entities in a wide range of commercial litigation, construction, real estate and real property matters. Mr. Brown has practiced in a wide range of construction areas, including complex delay; impact; defective design; defective construction, and differing site conditions claims, on behalf of subcontractors, general contractors, and owners. He also has experience with drafting and negotiating construction and design contracts.
Mr. Brown is a 2014 graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law, where he was notes and comments editor for the Journal of Real Property Law and an Inductee to the Order of the Barristers. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of North Texas.

Representative Matters
Represented a national real estate company in a lease dispute in Fort Worth, Texas with an international movie theatre chain, obtaining a summary judgment in favor of the client, and a take-nothing dismissal of the movie theatre chain’s claims.
Lead counsel in matter representing a Texas general contractor in a lien foreclosure and breach of contract lawsuit, and obtained a favorable settlement on the first day of trial.
Lead counsel in matter representing a Texas general contractor in a jury trial arising from a complex residential remodel project, which resulted in a favorable settlement in the middle of trial.
Represented national general contractor against a national real estate developer arising from construction of commercial projects across the United States.
Lead counsel in matter representing a Dallas real estate developer against a general contractor in a high-end residential development dispute, and obtained a favorable arbitration award which included damages and attorneys’ fees.
