Lauren Matturri practices in the area of intellectual property law with a concentration on trademarks and copyrights. She regularly provides advice to clients regarding their intellectual property from a business perspective.
Ms. Matturri has experience with trademark litigation, copyright infringement, infringement investigations, policing, prosecution, licensing agreements, copyright, and trade dress. She also develops anti-counterfeiting measures for clients across all industries including fashion, consumer products, medical devices, and food and beverages. Ms. Matturri has extensive experience with complex branding issues, including licensing agreements, rebranding, and fair use of third party intellectual property.
In addition to her prosecution and counseling practice, Ms. Matturri is frequently involved in trademark and copyright litigation in federal courts across the country. She has been part of teams that have obtained preliminary injunctions and temporary restraining orders on behalf of trademark and copyright clients. Ms. Matturri also manages opposition and cancellation proceedings at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) . In addition to litigation in federal court and at the TTAB, she has experience with representing parties before bodies for the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and submitting Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) claims across many platforms, including social media, e-commerce, and domain hosts. She has also spearheaded enforcement campaigns in the United States and overseas for clients in industries where counterfeiting and knockoffs are prevalent. Ms. Matturri regularly enforces clients’ intellectual property rights across the world, including in the E.U., U.K., China, and India.
Ms. Matturri is a 2018 graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was online editor and staff writer for the Villanova Law Review, and a graduate, with honors, of Lafayette College.

Representative Matters
Successfully obtained a UDRP victory for a chemical client over a domain name that was wrongfully being used by a former distributor. The outcome resulted in the infringing domain being transferred to the client.
