The IFLR Americas Awards recognize legal innovation and excellence in cross-border dealmaking throughout the Americas. The 2026 awards program spans more than 150 categories and highlights firms, lawyers, teams and transactions shaping the legal and business landscape across the region.

The IFLR Americas Awards focus on legal innovation through dealmaking and recognize work that improves the cross-border investment environment throughout the region. The 2026 awards include several new categories, such as Sports and Mining, along with new transatlantic honors recognizing excellence in debt and equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, lender finance and overall cross-border legal work between the United States, the United Kingdom and the broader Americas region.
The 2026 program also introduced new categories designed to recognize the breadth of legal excellence across the market, including Best of Province distinctions for Canada, Pro Bono Team of the Year honors and Individual Practice Area Leader Awards.
Winners will be announced at the IFLR Americas Awards ceremony on October 15, 2026, at Capitale in New York City. Additional awards, including the In-House Market Maker Awards, Lifetime Achievement Award, Outstanding Contribution to Regulatory Reform Awards, Diversity Champions, Impact Deals of the Year and jurisdictional Rising Star awards, will also be presented during the event.
