PHILADELPHIA, October 15, 2026—Duane Morris LLP has been selected to receive the Andrea and Abraham Morris Impact Award from Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC), recognizing the firm’s longstanding commitment to the organization and its mission of improving the lives of people impacted by breast cancer. Duane Morris will be honored at LBBC’s annual Butterfly Ball on November 7 at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia.
The Andrea and Abraham Morris Impact Award is reserved for individuals and businesses that demonstrate exceptional passion, longevity and commitment to improving the lives of those impacted by breast cancer. This is the fifth time LBBC has bestowed the distinguished award.
Duane Morris’ relationship with LBBC began in 2013, when partner Jonathan Petrakis served on the organization’s board of directors. Over the years, Duane Morris attorneys, including Christiane Schuman Campbell, who currently serves as an LBBC board member, as well as Thomas Spencer, Linda Hollinshead and Colin Knisely, have provided pro bono legal counsel to the organization.
Through this longstanding relationship, Duane Morris has helped LBBC add strategic partners, expand its reach and impact, and address organizational policies and procedures. The depth, consistency and quality of the firm’s legal counsel have supported LBBC as it has continued to grow its work on behalf of people impacted by breast cancer.
The award is named for Andrea “Andi” Morris, a two-time breast cancer survivor, and Abraham “Abe” Morris, a colon cancer survivor, both of whom lost their mothers to breast cancer at young ages. Longtime champions of LBBC, Andi and Abe have been among the organization’s most loyal and generous supporters and ambassadors.
This year’s Butterfly Ball will also celebrate LBBC’s 35th anniversary and recognize the advocates, leaders and partners who have helped advance its mission. The annual event raises critical funds to help ensure that anyone facing a breast cancer diagnosis has access to trusted information, meaningful connection and practical support.
