Alessandra Mungioli is an attorney in the Trial Practice Group whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Ms. Mungioli litigates a variety of commercial matters, including high-value contract disputes, business torts, issues of statutory and regulatory compliance, and shareholder disputes.
Prior to joining Duane Morris, Ms. Mungioli served as law clerk to the Hon. Michael M. Baylson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Mungioli is a 2019 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where she was Production Editor of the Journal of Business Law and Senior Executive Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Affairs. She earned a Certificate in Management from The Wharton School and is a magna cum laude graduate of Drexel University, Pennoni Honors College, where she played on the varsity soccer team.

Representative Matters
Represented Virtua Health System and Our Lady of Lourdes Health System in commercial litigation brought by Deborah Heart & Lung Center in New Jersey state court whereby Deborah claimed that Virtua’s acquisition of Lourdes in 2019 caused Lourdes to breach a restrictive covenant in a contract between Deborah and Lourdes, and resulted in Virtua inducing the alleged breach and competing unfairly with Deborah. This matter was resolved by the mutual agreement of the parties and dismissed in its entirety with prejudice.
